Lecture on Ainu Collections in European Museums

I’m sorry that I cannot be in attendance for Dr. Hans Dieter Ölschleger’s talk, “Ainu Collections in European Museums” taking place at Hokkaido University on October 9th. I cite an essay by Dr. Ölschleger on John Batchelor’s contributions to Ainu ethnography in one of my chapters, and his scholarship is quite interesting. For those that can attend, here is the information. The lecture will be in German with simultaneous Japanese translation. Admission is free and no reservation is required.
